  2. POMPortal – A world-wide web site (https://www.pomportal.com) that provides your guests with ‘READ ONLY’ access to your private ‘Peace of Mind’ disaster management database. Access to each individual insured item within your private disaster management database can be granted and/or denied to specific guests. The POMPortal web application communicates with the XML Webservice via a secure https link. To login, select the 'Guest Login' link located at the top of the page.
  3. XML Webservice – An application (resides on one or more Internet servers) that provides the critical data input, maintenance and retrieval functions to all Smart Clients and POMPortal applications.
  4. WEB Server – An application (resides on one or more Internet servers) that services http and https web page requests.
  5. Database Engine – An application (resides on a server located behind a secure firewall in a cyber data center) that provides direct access functionality (read/write) to the data store. 
The Smart Client is a living entity that utilizes the Microsoft ‘Click Once’ technology to search for newer releases of the software on an internet server and automatically locate and install it. This unique update mechanism ensures that you have the latest available software features as they become arrive. The graphical user interface provided within the ‘Peace of Mind’ Smart Client quickly enables you to see exactly what you own, an item’s value and exactly how much insurance coverage is required to cover the loss of all contents. Various reports provided within the Smart Client enable you to provide law enforcement and insurers alike with critical documentation that aids to quicken any recovery process.
